2012 Programme “Sanctuary for the Spirit – Becoming Who I’m Meant to Be”
Whirlow Grange Spirituality Centre is pleased to announce its new programme of events for 2012. Our aim is to offer opportunities to slow down, reflect, relax, learn and pray; encountering God, reflecting and developing our understanding of ourselves, our spirituality and our relationship with God.
Our Whirlow Workshops are across a variety of subject areas. Some of the days are reflective and some more lively. We also offering a number of residential retreats including a return visit from Margaret Silf in April and we are very pleased to welcome Revd Dr Russ Parker in November for a weekend on healing.
The 2012 Holy Week programme will be co-led by Revd Eileen Turner and Revd Philip Roderick with the theme of "Spectators, Supporters and Servants" - an imaginative look at the events of Holy Week as experienced by the ordinary people who rubbed shoulders with Jesus during the last days before his death and resurrection.
We also have a regular pattern of worship with a contemplative/reflective Eucharist at 9.45am every Tuesday (excluding Christmas/New Year) and a monthly Reflective Worship at 7pm on the first Sunday of the month (excluding January) to which all are welcome.
You can download the new programme below (in PDF format) and a booking form.
