| Prison Prayers |

 Local Doncaster churches will be supporting National Prisons Week by holding prayer meetings for all those involved in the prison service.
The services will take place on Tuesday 17 November 3pm at St John the Baptist Wadworth, Wednesday 18 November 7pm at St Katherine Loversall, Thursday 19 November 7pm at St John the Baptist Wadworth, Friday 20 November 7pm at St Katherine Loversall and Saturday 21 November 7pm ay St John the Baptist Wadworth.
There will be a final service on Sunday 22 November 7pm at St Katherine Loversall.
Church of England chaplains serve alongside representatives of other faith communities in many local prisons.
“The work of prison chaplains is often ignored and praying for them – for all those who are incarcerated and for those who are tasked with the duty of their care is part of what prisons’ week is all about,” said Bob Fitzharris, Archdeacon of Doncaster, today.
