CMD – Preaching the Old Testament Year C

– led by Revd Canon Professor John Rogerson. . Canon Thomson says: The Hebrew Bible which Christians call the Old Testament is an under preached set of texts this event aims to remedy this and is an opportunity not to be missed.

Professor John Rogerson is well known in our diocese and was Professor of Biblical Studies at Sheffield University from 1979 to 1996.

The event is repeated twice on Wednesday 9th December 2009:- 9.30 am – 12.30 pm & 7.00 pm – 9.30 pm - at St Mary’s Bramall Lane, Sheffield S1 4TL Cost £7 per person – Closing date 30th November 2009.
